Hurricane Season runs from June to November. The most active hurricane season on record was 2005 (Wilma) and 2009 being the quietest. Pay close attention to weather forecasts during this season and always be prepared, you never know what can happen.
Busy Holidays are Presidents' Day weekend (February), Easter week, Memorial Day weekend, Fourth of July weekend, Labor Day weekend, Thanksgiving, Christmas week, and New Year's week are busy, can be packed any time school is out.
Red Weeks are the busiest dates (weeks) are Fantasy Fest and between Christmas and New Year's eve. Also pay attention to the Fourth of July weekend, the Super Boat Race weeks and the Key West Race Week.
White Weeks are the lowest demand weeks are September and early October and November.
Spring runs from late March to May with warm temperatures and tropical showers.
Summer extends from May to September and it's hot and very humid. Coastal areas, however, reap the benefits of sea breezes. Schedule your activities for earlier in the day, and take precautions to avoid the sun.
Autumn, September through November, a great time to visit unless a hurricane blows through with incredible Hotel deals.
Winter, December through February, when locals have been known to whip out the coats, hats and boots as the temperature drops below 75.
